Lilian Martinez, artista trentunenne di Chicago, ci accompagna in questa realtà con dipinti e ceramiche che trasmettono leggerezza, amore e gioia per la vita. Qui una donna fa strechting, le grandezze sono alterate, le campiture di colore sono distese e dai colori brillanti. Sullo sfondo piatto sono disposti diversi oggetti: un sole fa capolino e sullo sfondo compare la sagoma di un cane, accanto la testa di Bart Simpson è disposta su un capitello classico, come se fosse un idolo precolombiano di Gaugauin.
